CITY TOUR OF LA PAZ - BOLIVIA

La Paz city also called “Nuestra Señora de La Paz” is the governmental capital of Bolivia; This city was founded on October 20th, 1548 by the Spanish Captain Alonso De Mendoza. The center of the city is located at an altitude of approximately 3,650 m.a.s.l. (Meters above sea level) and it is the second most populated city in Bolivia.
La Paz is divided in three different geographical zones: Altiplano Zone formed by the Titicaca Lake, Sub-Andean Zone formed by the northeastern Real Mountain range and finally the Tropical Flat Zone with a humid-warm weather which allows exuberant vegetation to grow.
La Paz is a city that amazes all visitors, with houses built along and on top of the hills around the city itself playing with the gravity, and in the another hand, “CHOLITAS” native women who wear typical and unique clothes giving a special and colorful environment to this city, also this amazing city is surrounded by colorful hills crowned by the majestic Illimani Mountain (at 6,400 m.a.s.l.) with a diversity of places to visit around.

MOON VALLEY (LA PAZ)

The Moon Valley is located 15km away from the downtown area in the city of La Paz. This Valley is a unique geological place where erosion has formed a large collection of sandstone monoliths shaped over thousands of years, giving the place a true lunar surface scenery.

During the tour we will appreciate the cultural, historical, architectural, and natural wealth of La Paz city.
